The Amber Throne Torrent Download

Updated: Dec 8, 2020

About This Game After awakening from her coffin, Arra recalls little but the last words spoken by her father, “Destroy the Amber Throne.” Looking into the sky, she finds what was once his magnificent castle is now floating in the sky, far above the world below. Arra must find a way to reach the castle before others catch wind of it, lest the powerful Amber Throne fall into the wrong hands. Amber Throne is a traditional JRPG-styled game that focuses on turn-based battling and some light exploration. The game features a large cast of unique monsters that change stances depending on actions taken during combat, and a party with mostly mixed hybrid roles to deal with them. Learning monster behavior and how your skills affect them is essential to reaching victory. Fully painted world with diverse settings and unique characters. Many monsters with multiple stances and behaviors to master. Five party members each with their own skills and advantages. Crafting for the game's best equipment and items. 12-15 hour-long story with optional content and exploration. The game is a bit more atmospheric and ambient than most JRPG-styled games, with emphasis on theme and mood, hopefully making it feel a bit different to experience!ControlsShift to RunArrow Keys to MoveZ / Enter to ConfirmX / Esc For Main Menu Or CancelF5 For FullscreenD+hold For Skipping Dialogue 7aa9394dea Title: The Amber ThroneGenre: Adventure, Casual, Indie, RPGDeveloper:Joshua MissilePublisher:Joshua MissileRelease Date: 6 Jul, 2015 The Amber Throne Torrent Download Easily one of my top 5 favorite RPGs of all time. Pros-The artwork is fantastic, probably my favorite part about the game. -The story is original and interesting, I enjoyed it for the most part.-The soundtrack is great-The gameplay and skill system is fun to mess around with-Very few instances where I had to level grind my characters, and even then it wasn't very much. For the most part I was able to just play through the story from one area to the next, battling things on the map from time to time-Really cool combat system and tons of different skills to try out party combat in different waysCons-Wish it was a bit longer, it's from 15-20 hours long depending on how much you like to run through a game vs explore-Could have been a bit harder, some of the boss fights were easy to steam roll through-Story is sad :(. The Amber Throne is... Beautiful. Surreal. Heartwrenching. Actually a bit scary. The Amber Throne is one of the best games I've played in a while. From the first fewopening scenes, I was hooked. The story, while a bit confusing, was an absolute joy for me. The art style was like nothing I'd seen before, creating the world like a painting. The characters were funny and interesting,or maybe they were horrifying, or even awful, or tragic. In gameplay itself, the battles were interesting and hard, but not too repetitive- at least, in my experience. This game also touches on a lot of subjects you don't really see in games-you'll know what I mean when you see it.I was on the fence when I first found this game, it having many mixed reviews, but when I actually bought it, I fell in love.I fully recommend this game, and hope that whoever buys itloves it as much I found myself loving it.. This one really surprised me, went beyond my expectations and hopes. It really shows how much love and effort went into making this game.I do have to note that in no moment I came across any of the game breaking / severe bugs that seems to have hit some people. Pros: +Fantastic art-style +Deceptively simple combat with a place for tactics +Nice sound-track +Good story Cons: -Pretty small resolution (600x480) -A couple small bugs here and there -The crippling slow move speed. I've played a couple hours and I've read a few other reviews. The first thing I want to say is: YES this game is worth your money. That being said, the reason I love this game is because it takes me back to my youth when I played games like Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, and later Xenogears (as well as the Final Fantasy Series of course). The mute main character is hugely nostalgic for me, personally. The soundtrack really enhances the overall vagueness of the setting and the plot. Speaking of which, I've seen some others complain about the lack of direction in an (impressive) open world. I personally love it. The combat is a simplistic "rock-paper-scissors" system but I thoroughly enjoy it so far! I keep catching myself thinking of ways I would have tweaked the combat and the skill system but then I remember that isn't the point of this game. From what I can tell, the point IS the simplicity. I love how casual it is while also providing for interesting encounters. One last note: the turning enemy spawns "on" and "off" with the shrine/pillar things is genius! It's even explained lore-wise!All in all, I love it and I strongly recommend it to anyone seeking an experience similar to the games I mentioned above!. Just finished the game and I enjoyed it a lot. It has an interesting story, the music works well, the challenge is a good level. There are some really interesting character, monster, race and scenery designs. The game is kinda eerie and sometimes a little depressing, there are times when I'm not sure what's going on in the story. While it makes the game feel different to other RPGs, it also means i have to be in the right mood to play it and I found the ending decidedly unsatisfying because it was in a weird/depressing mood near the end. My only other complaint is that the bugs need ironing out - I found one consistent way to make the game crash (use ale during battle) and sometimes it just crashed anyway. There were also quite a few typoes - please learn to spell 'Rejuvenate'! That said, for a cheap RPG maker production it's very impressive.. I'll admit it's been a long time since I played and ultimately gave up on this, so I frankly don't remember much. I just decided to go through my Steam library and review things.Playing this game I couldn't ever decide if I really liked the art or not. Maybe it's just not.... that consistent, but that's not entirely true... I will say the backgrounds and characters aren't consistent, seeming to take a different medium. The characters really "pop" out from the backgrounds... but I'd seriously hesitate to say that it does so in the right way. It just always looked a little off to me.I think also the general sort of lack of higher detail and most backgrounds looking rather faded is just something that I don't like. I tend to like more vibrant, distinct colors, and this is very muted, almost like the dark greys and browns that plagued the previous generation.Another issue is (This may be a RPG maker limitation, which I didn't realize this game was made in) is that characters have very few animation frames. It works in pixel games like older Pokemon titles, but when you have a semi detailed full person that only has 3 animation frames for walking it's a bit visibly jarring. The music is... fine. Forgettable, but fine.I don't remember much of the gameplay or story, but to be honest I remember getting extremely bored of the game and eventually just stopping, even though like so many others I REALLY wanted to like it.I almost wish the game would be remade, streamlined, more interactions, expand the story, add some color and detail to the backgrounds... really give it a proper treatment. I think this game is just a "Man, I wish this was just... more. Better."
